Poem: Stringiti A Me (Hold Me) by Gabriele D'Annunzio

Daphnis et Chloé by François Pascal Simon Gérard

Hold me, abandon yourself to me, confidently.

I won't miss you and you won't miss me. We'll find, we'll find the secret truth upon which our love will rest forever, immutable. Don't lock yourself from me don't suffer alone, don't hide your torment! Talk to me, when your heart is swollen with pain.

Let me hope to be able to soothe you. Nothing should be kept silent among us and nothing should be hidden.

I dare to remind you of a deal that you yourself have made. Talk to me and I'll answer you without ever lying.

Let me help you for I receive great goodness from you!
