Attracted by those akin.
Threatened by others.
Are we different?
Are we the same?
It all depends.
What do you want to see?
Where do you put your attention?
You may see heaven or hell.
You may see a friend or foe.
You may see a next of kin or a stranger.
You may see or not see anything.
What is the difference?
Who makes the difference?
The observer, that would be me or you or both.
We see what we want to see.
We see what we believe.
We perceive what we are prepared to see
We may or not believe what we see.
We may not see nor perceive anything.
We may not believe any of it.
We believe or not, depending what we want to believe.
What makes us different?
Ourselves.
What makes us the same?
Ourselves.
Not our inner selves, but our outer selves.
Not our heart, but our mind.
Not love but fear.
Our mind wants us to believe we are different, and divides us.
Our heart knows we are one and the same, and unite us.
While our mind acting from fear protect us by dividing us.
Our heart knows better and acting from love unite us.
Whatever divide us, is the product of our minds.
Whatever unite us, comes out of love.
Whatever the question, love is the answer.
If we feel equals, then we are
one with the whole
If we embrace fraternity, then we are
all one and the same.
We are as different and equals as we want to be.
Who will decide?
Your heart or your mind?
Will you act out of love?
Or let fear decide?
In any case, up to you to decide.
You will let your mind rule and fear control you.
