There is a spiritual obligation, there is a task to be done.
It is not, however, something as simple as following a set of somebody else’s rules.
(Terence McKenna)
We may hear "thank you"; however, we do not feel thankful.
We do what we have to do.
With purpose,
with presence,
in ceremony.
We are given the opportunity to be our own selves,
sharing our being with others,
being of service.
We act out of conviction,
we act freely,
sharing our gifts,
that are clearly not ours.
We are just being who we are.
No need to be praised for being who we are.
No need to be thanked for being who we are.
Pure enjoyment.
Pure love.
Pure extasis.
Pure presence.
Pure beingness.
Pure bliss.
In the here and now.
We do it for our own pleasure,
with purpose,
for the sake of just being.
Being thanked seems unnecesary.
No hint of ungratefulness on this.
We feel obliged to be our own true selves.
Any opportunity to be,
of service,
love,
presence,
we take freely, if we feel it is aligned with our being.
We have to,
we want to,
we love to,
we are grateful.
No need to give back something that is yours.
No need to even thank me, us, we.
We are not the ones you should be thanking.
It is beyond our outer selves.
We are just obliged to be our own true selves.
We are your other self, you are our other self.
We are one.
Whatever we do to you, we do upon our own self.
And we are much obliged to do so.
And so it is.
Yo lo Creo/
I believe so, and so it is.
