Forgiveness (Bachan Kaur)

Writer: MY HaySarMY HaySar

Forgiveness by Bachan Kaur.

Bharee-ai hath pair tan dayh.

Paanee Dhotai utras khayh.

Hands, feet and the body that are polluted,

With water the dirt can be washed away.

Moot paleetee kaparh ho-ay.

Day saaboon la-ee-ai oh Dho-ay.

Clothes that are soiled and stained by urine,

With soap they can be washed clean.

Bharee-ai mat paapaa kai sang.

Oh Dhopai naavai kai rang.

When the mind is weighed down with burdens of duality,

That can be cleansed by the Color of the Naam.

Punnee paapee aakhan naahi.

Kar kar karnaa likh lai jaahu.

Virtue and vice do not come by mere words;

actions repeated, again and again, are engraved on the soul.

Aapay beej aapay hee khaahu.

Naanak hukmee aavhu jaahu.

What you sow is what you shall experience.

O Nanak, by God's Command, we die and take birth.

Bharee-ai hath pair tan dayh.

Paanee Dhotai utras khayh.

O Nanak, by God's Command, we die and take birth.

Don't look back.

Open your heart.

Right now is.

The perfect time to start.

You don't have to try.

Just let your self go.

Don't ask why.

You already know.

Don't look back.

Open your heart.

Right now is.

The perfect time to start.

You don't have to try.

Just let your self go.

Don't ask, why?

You already know.

You're the love of my life.

And I'm singing to you all day.

With every breath.

Every step of the way.

No matter what you do.

I belong to you.

No matter where you go.

You're holding my glow.

You can never do wrong.

Sing and become my song.

No matter what you do.

I belong to you.

No matter what you do.

You're, me, I'm you.

No matter what you do.

You're me, I am you.

Don't look back.

Open your heart.

Right now is.

The perfect time to start.

You don't have to try.

Just let your self go.

Don't ask, why?

You already know.

You don't have to try.

Just let your self go.

Don't ask, why?

Cause you already know.

Don't ask, why?

Cause you already know.

Don't ask, why?

Cause you already know.

Just let your self go.

You're holding my glow.

You already know.

So let your self go.
