Forgiveness

Updated: Jul 28, 2020

Without forgiveness, there’s no future

(Desmond Tutu)

It is always a good time to forgive. It is never too early nor too late to forgive.

Before you start forgiving anyone, begin by forgiving yourself.

Why me?

Because if we cannot forgive ourselves, then there is no meaning in forgiving anyone else. Forgiving is the act of loving that we are not comfortable with, that we do not like, that we cannot let go, forgiving is loving that what we do not love about ourselves, about others.

We make mistakes, erring confirms our humanity and shows us more clearly what our path is and the direction we should be taking.

The errors we make come with a message, when we do pay attention and notice our errors for what they are, if we do not fall into the drama of it all, if we forgive ourselves for whatever we may have done wrong, if we let go of what could have been and is not, we learn from our errors and we transmute them into a thousand blessings.

To love our thoughts, our intentions, our actions, everything that we are, we must first accept our flaws, our darkness. Forgiveness allows us to love unconditionally.

It is easier to forgive those that have hurt us than forgiving ourselves from being hurt. By first forgiving yourself, you can then go and forgive others.

Never forget to forgive.

The more you forgive, the more love you give.

The more love you give, the more love you get.

Give love, get love, until you are so full of love that you forget what was it that you had to forgive, because by then you will have remembered that you are love and you are here to give love unconditionally.

I believe so and so it is/
